Tobermory 2003 17 Year Old Madeira Cask Finish
This 17-year-old Tobermory Distillery Exclusive single malt was first stored in whisky refill hogsheads in April 2003. It then underwent a finishing touch in top-notch Madeira casks for an additional four years. This luxurious malt embodies the beloved signature citrus hints of Tobermory, enhanced with added fruitiness, delectable toffee, caramelised sugar, and understated hints of herbs and spices.
Tasting Note by Tobermory:
Nose: Peaches and cream, bursts of orange rind, sweet toffee, and walnut oil balanced with clove, geranium and a soft wood spice.
Palate: Creamy mouthfeel gives way to hazelnut, burnt sugar, citrus, grapes, hints of green capsicum and a subtle herbaceous note.
Finish: Gentle finish with dried fruit and cinnamon
