Old Ballantraun 10 Year Old
The initial release of Old Ballantruan with a specified age statement, aged for a decade. This unique whisky is produced at the Tomintoul distillery, employing heavily peated barley, and it is presented at a robust 50% ABV.
Tasting Note by Old Ballantruan:
Nose: Gentle waft of “peat reek”, smoked campfires and subtle citrus fruit notes.
Palate: A mellow, dry peat with hints of lemon cheesecake, cocoa and shortbread.
Finish: Lingering smoke and peat with a light pepper kick.
